What makes a great RIDE BEER?  One that you enjoy, of course, but there are a few characteristics that help some standout over others. Local craft beer in a 16 oz can is a good start!  These are some of our favorites...

SIERRA NEVADA

TORPEDO EXTRA IPA - ASHEVILLE, NC
Whole hops, the whole time. What began as a crazy idea scribbled in a pub eventually became Torpedo Extra IPA. The first beer to feature the “Hop Torpedo”—a revolutionary dry-hopping device that controls how much hop aroma is imparted into beer without adding additional bitterness. Aggressive yet balanced beer with massive hop aromas of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit.

Don't see your favorite?  Maybe we don't know about it.  We'd love to hear from you!

BIG TIMBER IPA - Elkins, WV

16 oz. can.  Pours a nice, clear bronze color, with a small, fizzy, beige head. The aroma is orange peel, oregano, some musty earth, and pine. Sweet and earthy up front, with a dusty bitterness through the finish. Light to medium body, slightly astringent, crisp, and relatively clean. This is a solid, straightforward, IPA. - GTAEgeek

Bell's

HOPSLAM Double IPA - Galesburg, MI

Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell's Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell's repertoire.

Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style.

OSKAR BLUES

DALES PALE ALE - Brevard, NC

Oskar Blues launched its canning ops in 2002, brewing and hand-canning Dale's Pale Ale in the Lyons, ColoRADo, brewpub.   America’s first-craft-canned mountain Pale is a hearty, critically acclaimed trailblazer that changed the way craft beer fiends perceive portable beer (6.5 percent ABV and 65 IBUs)  -            www.oskarblues.com/beer/dales

West Sixth IPA - Lexington, KY

Our IPA is big and hoppy, but we’ve placed a premium on making it well-balanced, as well. Using 4 types of hops — Cascade, Columbus, Centennial, and the infamous Citra hop, we’ve been able to create a beer that’s not quite an West Coast IPA, but also not an East Coast IPA — which is why we like it so much and why it’s perfect right here in the Bluegrass State.

Bell's

Two Hearted Ale - Galesburg, MI

Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter. This beer is remarkably drinkable and well suited for adventures everywhere.
